Contract Role - Senior Project Manager
UK Remote
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract. You will be responsible for leading Project/Programme teams and managing all aspects of the project management life -cycle The role is a remote position and Inside IR35.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager from a banking background with experience of the full project lifecycle, using Waterfall project methodologies and Agile principles.

Mobilising and managing projects and change initiatives using formal methodologies and lifecycles.

Developing and maintaining a disciplined change control process to make sure changes are formally agreed.

Managing the project visibly against the project plan including schedule and budget, making changes where necessary.

Ensuring the project adheres to the Change Book of Standard Procedures and governance framework.
About you:
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Project Manager working within the banking Industry.

Experience of project management, delivering quality projects on budget and on time

Fraud expertise and working with PSR regulation would be a bonus

Good understanding of the financial sector - sound business acumen and judgment; ability to see and communicate technology challenges in business terms; ability to understand and deliver business value

Experience of working on change delivery with suppliers / third party partners

In depth knowledge of payment schemes & systems
- Experience of Financial and Risk Regulatory Reporting environments
