Project Manager
Location: Glasgow / Hybrid

About the Role
We are representing an innovative tech-driven company seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive product development in a regulated hardware environment. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, overseeing the complete project lifecycle from planning and scheduling to risk management and milestone delivery. This role involves collaborating closely with engineering and scientific leads to ensure smooth project execution and optimal team coordination.
 
The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in regulated environments, with an emphasis on quality management systems and project management frameworks. Experience with medical device development is a plus but not a requirement

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project delivery plans with clearly defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain project management infrastructure using tools like MS Project, GANTT Charts, Jira, Agile, or PRINCE2
  • Coordinate day-to-day project operations, from scheduling and documentation to supplier coordination and team meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain essential quality management and documentation files, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support lab setup and operation, including health and safety oversight and resource management.
 
About You:
  • Proven track record in project management within regulated industries, ideally with experience in hardware product development.
  • Skilled in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles in regulated settings, including knowledge of change control and risk management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Technical understanding of electronics or fluid mechanics is advantageous.
