1st Line Support Engineer
Contract - Onsite - Auchterarder, Scotland
 
Embark on a rewarding contract role as a 1st Line Support Engineer with one of the UK's most prestigious Hospitality & Leisure companies, based in the picturesque town of Auchterarder. This is a unique chance to not only provide essential IT support but also to engage in exciting project work, enhancing your skills and experience in a dynamic environment.
 
Role Details:
  • Location - Onsite in Auchterarder

  • Duration - 4-8 weeks

  • Schedule - 5 days a week, with some out-of-hours and weekend work required to support business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st Line IT Support for systems and infrastructure, addressing helpdesk tickets from employees across various sites.

  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to resolve issues and manage change requests.

  • Assist IT Managers with day-to-day upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Technical proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server/OS, networking concepts, and IT hardware (laptops, printers, PCs, etc.).

  • Experience with EPOS and Audio Visual systems is advantageous.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • A desire to work as part of a cohesive team and the initiative to complete tasks independently.
