COP26 dominated the headlines in November 2021, with all eyes on Glasgow as our world leaders agreed on key outcomes and steps needed to protect the future of our planet. Scientists and climate experts voiced their concerns, and it was said time and time again that change needs to happen from an individual level to achieve these outcomes – which is why Bright Purple rolled out Pawprint for Business to all employees as part of its climate change commitments.
Pawprint is a Scottish eco-tech company that helps businesses to unite, engage, and support their colleagues in tackling climate change at work, at home, and beyond. Employees are empowered to take control of their carbon footprint using a handy Pawprint app, encouraging participation through leader boards, teams, and tailored eco-sprints.
Alongside access to the Pawprint app, the employee engagement platform combines the very latest in carbon data and technology enabling Bright Purple to fully understand and embed sustainable values into their plans and support employees’ personal efforts to reduce carbon footprint.
Small steps can have a big impact.
Bright Purple has more than 25 employees who have joined and are using the Pawprint app to measure and understand their carbon footprint. Planet saving is always a team effort, so by making small, carbon-reducing changes in our individuals’ lives, Bright Purple will be able to reduce its collective impact as an organisation.
With COP26 bringing the issue of climate change to the forefront, we hope that partnering with Pawprint can act as an example of how local communities can come together to play their part in making a lasting, positive impact on the environment
