Bright Purple Resourcing are currently recruiting for a UX Researcher on a contractual basis. The role is based in central Edinburgh for an initial 6 months.
At least 5 to 7 years of work experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, experimental design, and test method selection.
In addition, the successful candidate for this position must have had proven successful experience in the integration of consumer research into a business's product design practice. Additionally, a suitable candidate will have experience in product usability testing tools.
Also, UX Researcher candidates must display a strong comprehension of the strengths and limitations of the different research methods, inclusive of when and how to apply each in product/market/consumer analyses.
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence external and internal stakeholders at all levels
*Wide range of user research methods, solid analysis and synthesis techniques and excellent verbal and written communications skills
*Track record working in applying human centered design practices and methodologies to influence iterative design and development by working with product owners and engineering teams
*Ability to plan user research for services with challenging user needs and complex user journeys
*Has knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital and data services. Can collaborate closely with colleagues in different digital disciplines
*Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices.
*Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
