Bright Purple's Glasgow based client have an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Services Team Leader to join a highly successful and globally recognised brand in a Senior Analyst capacity.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience -
Key Responsibilities -
*Manage a multi-disciplined global team who are responsible for providing global infrastructure management, deployment and support. The infrastructure is comprised of both on premise and cloud elements that provide the key global business solutions.
*Ensure effective management of staff to include recruitment, induction, goals and objectives setting, performance appraisals and ongoing development plans.
*Ensure successful coordination of the delivery of a quality support service adhering to agreed SLA's.
*Take responsibility to ensure service availability through effective system monitoring, performance management, capacity planning, and demand / event management for enterprise business solutions.
*Support and manage transition of ATS services from project development and deployment into production business ready services.
*Responsible for managing the strategic direction for infrastructure technologies to include life cycle management.
*Provide out-of-hours escalation support to the team as required.
Deep technical understanding in the required fields -
*Group SLA's achieved
*Systems availability targets achieved or exceeded
*Macro plan projects delivered into production operations
*Manage staff retention, attrition does not impact service levels
*Maintain Audit & Risk scoring levels
*Number of reportable incidents / problems
*Degree qualification or equivalent experience
*ITIL Foundation Level (or higher) Certified highly desirable
Professional skills -
*Significant proven experience managing a team of circa 10 staff members
*Extensive experience supporting a wide range of business critical applications
*In-depth experience of Change and Release Management Processes
*Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives using proven methods
*Proven knowledge & experience of managing both business facing services and underlying Infrastructure technologies
