Bright Purple Resourcing is working closely with one of the UK's fastest growing and phenomenally successful payments software companies. With offices in London, Edinburgh and Dublin they have taken their market sector by storm and have processed more than 6 billion payments in their 4 year existence. Another round of significant investment (£14 million) has resulted in continued and steady recruitment across the business.

Due to their continued impact and success in the market, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Director to manage and grow the team of new business sales professionals who are based in the London HQ. This is a strategic and important hire for the company and is very much a career defining moment for the right individual.

This role does not carry an individual quota or target. The successful candidate will be team focused and have experience leading teams to success, have the patience to excel in a fast-paced young company with shifting and changing priorities, maintain professional standards along with strict CRM adherence.

Sales cycles vary between 3 to 6 months and average deal values are anywhere from the thousands to the hundreds of thousands. You will be given a lot of autonomy in the role, will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and work collaboratively with the Head of Inside Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Pre-Sales and Head of Customer Success.

Salary on offer £130,000 (DOE) and a forecasted OTE of £200k for year one.

To be considered you will have:

*Demonstrable UK software solution sales experience
*Experience managing and growing a team of BDM's
*Payments or FinTech experience would be preferred but not essential
*Experience working in SME or Start-Up sized vendors
*Ability to clearly show longevity as well as achievements in each role.
*Passion for technology

Our client cannot offer visa sponsorship. Applicants with a predominantly contract / interim working history and commercial experience working in enterprise sized corporates are unlikely to meet with our clients expectations.
