Bright Purple is looking to hire a DevOps Analyst/windows/infrastructure professional on behalf of our client located in the central belt of Scotland
My client can offer a fun and friendly environment with a 'work hard, play hard' attitude. All projects are Greenfield, and this would give a candidate an excellent opportunity to join a company of significant growth with guaranteed potential of career progression.
You will be working within the Managed Services/Technical Services team to support the Solution Delivery teams. Much of your time will be spent owning the code build process based on developer tested, reviewed and committed code in the clients source code. Building releases from Development to Test teams, including incremental improvements through automation where appropriate. Deployment of software builds into designated shared Test environments, including incremental improvements through automation where appropriate. Release of signed-off software builds from test to Client Services.
Key experience required:
*DevOps mind set
*Experience in deploying software upgrades within a Windows environment
*Knowledge of Automation toolsets e.g. Chef
*Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
*Strong system administration skills with Microsoft Windows Server
*Rational Database knowledge such a Microsoft SQL Server
*Knowledge if Nant scripting
You will be a team player with a positive, driven attitude, with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. You must be an excellent team player!
