So, first day at Bright Purple and I’m welcomed by a nice big cuppa, a welcome card and a bag filled with Bright Purple Stationery. What a welcome!
After recruiting for IT roles with a number of agencies in the past, it was important for me to make my next move one that would be working as part of a really inclusive team who work hard together and have a real passion for what they do.
One thing that was high on my priority when looking to move was working with a really supportive and driven team. Since starting yesterday i have got to say I haven’t been disappointed.
Everyone welcomed me and introduced themselves, I got invited out on lunch with some of the team, and got made endless amounts of Tea and coffee.
In all honesty Bright Purple offer a really nice working environment with up to date technology and a clean and bright office space. The office is in the city centre right next to the dome and We have an office dog on a Friday called Arthur who I can’t wait to meet. Flexible working is on offer which is great for some of my colleagues who have kids and means they can drop them off at school and tuck them in at night. Good to know as I’m getting married next year and although kids are definitely a while off its nice to see an employer working to support its employees in this modern world of work.
So far it’s been a great 2 days – I like being a purple person. #Fearthepurple
