Fundraising gets off to a tasty start
Bright Purple kicked off their fundraising campaign with some seriously gourmet grub at the Bright Buffet on Friday 31st March.
Bright Purple People cooked up some tasty treats, which were devoured by hungry passers-by, who chipped in to get the campaign off to a cracking start with £343.62 raised.
The event was the first of several that will be held in the coming months, culminating in the 50 mile Borders Cycle Challenge on 10th September 2017. A team of 10 cyclists will be taking part with the aim of raising £2000 for Shelter Scotland.
The Cycle Challenge is the 4th to be held in support of Shelter Scotland and takes place in stunning surroundings of the countryside of the Scottish Borders. Money raised will go towards tackling Scotland's problem of homelessness.
Watch this space for future events in the run up to September!
In the meantime, we would be very grateful if you could donate to our JustGiving page to help us reach our target.
